Leading open strategizing practices for effective strategy implementation

Purpose Implementing a new organizational strategy effectively nowadays is said to require open strategizing practices. The purpose of this paper examine the adoption three intertwined practices in conjunction with transformational leadership style towards effective implementation. Design/methodology/approach study was conducted within 37 geographically dispersed locations Dutch governmental organization. top managers and senior were surveyed at two points time ( n T 1 = 548; 2 414) group interviewed 2. Exploratory factor linear regression analyses performed. qualitative data pertaining specific way which leaders can impact relationship between implementation analyzed using Gioia methodology.
